What has been the highlight of nursing school so far?

The highlight of nursing school so far has been making friends with other students in my cohort. I'm almost certain that some of the friendships I've cultivated during nursing school will be my lifelong friends even after my time at Emory.

I chose Emory because I knew I would receive some of the highest quality education to allow me to become the best provider I can be. Also, one of my siblings attended Emory for undergrad years ago, and it's very meaningful to me that we share this bond of attending the same university.

Before nursing school, I was...

Before nursing school, I took a year off between undergraduate and graduate school to travel and visit family. I was able to explore many cities in 10 different states! I also led and instructed group fitness classes (CrossFit) when I wasn't traveling.

My favorite thing to do in Atlanta is walk on the beltline, try new restaurants/breweries, and find cozy coffee shops!
