I chose Emory because...

I wanted to attend a top nursing school in Georgia. After deciding that becoming a physician no longer aligned with my goals, I shifted my focus to a career in nursing. I want to become a Pediatric Nurse Practitioner. When I discovered that Emory had a master’s level nursing program, which is the #1 graduate nursing program in the country, I knew that Emory was the right choice for me. Emory’s graduate nursing program allows me to achieve my goals at an accelerated rate.

My favorite thing to do in Atlanta is...

Try different restaurants. I love pasta and Mexican food :). Also, I enjoy doing fun activities with family and friends as well as attend events in Atlanta. I like to have fun and live life to the fullest!

What has been the highlight of nursing school so far?

The bonds and friendships that I have formed with my classmates/study group. Also, I have had a very hands-on experience in lab and clinical. So far, my nursing journey has truly been amazing.
