It was really important to me to find a program that allowed me to be hands on in a patient care setting and Emory offers a variety of clinical experiences throughout Atlanta. I grew up on the west coast and went to college not far from my hometown, and I also wanted to experience a more diverse city.
working in the health/food sector, living in Seattle, WA, and exploring my passion for the outdoors! Prior to moving to Seattle, I worked in the Emergency Department as a Medical Scribe, which is where I fell in love with nursing and healthcare.
explore all the different communities! There are so many amazing parks and neighborhoods in Atlanta. I love trying new restaurants, and there are so many different types and styles of food in the area. I've enjoyed expanding my horizons and trying new things!
the community and support! Meeting the cohort and forming relationships with my peers has been amazing. The faculty and staff at Emory has also been a huge highlight of my time here. They truly want each student to succeed and that is reflected in their work!
