Emory has such a tight-knit community that stood out and made a lasting impression on me last year at Admitted Students Day. The staff and students were so kind, informative, and went out of their way to make us feel as welcome as possible. I felt right at home the minute I stepped on campus!

My favorite thing to do in Atlanta is...

I love exploring the city and finding places to walk, eat, and hang out with friends! Going on walks in Piedmont Park is one of my favorite activities; it’s such a beautiful place to walk and spend time outside. Some of my favorite restaurants in the city are Agave and Iberian Pig!

What has been the highlight of nursing school so far?

This school year has been a little different than usual with some components being virtual, but I’d have to say that clinicals have been the highlight so far. Having the ability to interact with patients and learn in a hands-on environment has made a tremendous difference in our education as nursing students!

Studying Public Health at Tulane University. I miss New Orleans like crazy and it will always have special place in my heart. I hope to go back and visit one day soon!
