Emory offers a diverse education with many possible pathways. I didn't know what I wanted to study when I first came to Emory, so the liberal arts education was perfect for exploring my interests. As for why I chose Emory nursing, I wanted to continue with the strong education I had received during my pre-requisite classes.

A student at Emory's Oxford campus. I actually started out as a biology major and dance and movement studies minor! I didn't decide on nursing until after my first two years, so I took another year at the Atlanta campus to complete my pre-requisite courses.

What has been the highlight of nursing school so far?

My favorite part of nursing school so far has been our weekly lab class. Learning how to do different procedures is so exciting and you get to spend time with a smaller group of your cohort.

Spend time outside! I have never lived in a city before coming to Atlanta, so I was surprised to find so many great places to explore nature around campus. My personal favorite place to walk at near campus is Lullwater Preserve.
