it's a prestigious institution with excellent professors, facilities, and resources. I am also married and have a baby, so it was important for me to stay in Atlanta and not have to move to another city.
the Assistant Director of a child care center for 3 years. I cared for children as young as 3 months old and up to 10 years old during the summer. I became very knowledgable in children's arts & crafts projects (Instagram: 8cs_crafts)! Prior to that, I lived in Israel for 2 years. I worked for a private English school, both as the business manager and as a teacher for children. We focused on teaching spoken English through play and creative activities.
Doing nursing school during a pandemic was not what I imagined when I first applied, but I have been in awe at how well Emory has handled our new reality. I am thankful for Emory's connections and resources that pulled through so that we could have clinical experience in a hospital.
spend time outdoors, especially in the fall and spring. Atlanta has great weather!
