The highlight of nursing school so far has been my Adult Medical-Surgical clinical. I learned so much during this clinical experience and had the opportunity to remove IVs, insert an NG tube, go to the OR, and much more.

Before nursing school, I was studying at the University of Washington getting my pre-requisites. When I first went to university I wanted to major in political science, but I quickly realized my passions were in healthcare and decided to pursue nursing.

I chose Emory because I felt like it was a perfect fit for me. I came from out-of-state not knowing much about Georgia at all, but after attending Emory orientations and events I knew it was the place for me. Everyone is so kind and welcoming at the Emory Nursing School and even as a transfer student I quickly felt at home here.

My favorite thing to do in Atlanta is...

My favorite thing to do in Atlanta is going to the Beltline and walking from Piedmont Park to Ponce City Market.
