What has been the highlight of nursing school so far?

Definitely patient interactions! I absolutely love the new ENLC; and getting the opportunity to practice patient care scenarios before entering the hospital has given me more confidence before entering my clinical rotations. However, getting to connect with my first patient in the hospital provided me with a joy that I have never experienced before. I have loved learning how to become an excellent nurse by simultaneously caring for my patients physically, mentally, emotionally, and spiritually.

I believe that it will equip me with the essential skills necessary to become a caring, empathetic, highly skilled, and professional nurse. I love how Emory provides our essential academics while also stressing the holistic approach to nursing. I really enjoy learning to take care of not only my patients, but also their families.

completing nursing prerequisites and obtaining my associate degree from Oxford College of Emory University.

My favorite thing to do in Atlanta is...

go to concerts and sporting events at Mercedes-Benz Stadium & Truist Park. Since I grew up 40 minutes from the city, I have experienced most of Atlanta's attractions. My favorite one is probably The World of Coca-Cola as I love the taste testing around the world exhibit.
