I chose Emory because it’s in an amazing location full of culture and great food, and it’s not too far from my hometown. Emory is also the hub of medicine and research here in Atlanta, making it the perfect place to pursue nursing.

What has been the highlight of nursing school so far?

The highlight of nursing school so far has been becoming a part of VANAP. It’s given me the opportunity to work closely with Atlanta veterans and has opened the door to so many experiences—like the HPSP scholarship and an externship through VA-STEP.
