What has been the highlight of nursing school so far?

Before nursing school, I was...

a student at the University of Georgia and then the University of North Georgia where I graduated with a degree in marketing. I worked retail in college and as a conference coordinator, but wasn't interested in continuing on those paths. Following graduation I took some time off to decide what I wanted to do as a career and worked as a nanny and then worked in marketing at an orthodontist office. Ultimately, I decided the business world wasn't for me, and I started taking pre-requisites for nursing school!

I chose Emory because...

Emory has their own hospitals, so there are plenty of career opportunities if you want to stay in the area after graduation, as well as name recognizability if you would like to work in a different area!

My favorite thing to do in Atlanta is...

Go to Atlanta Braves games! The Battery has a great atmosphere even if you're not into baseball, but I sure do love my Atlanta Braves!
