What has been the highlight of nursing school so far?

Graduating with my Masters of Nursing. It was so exciting to take on a new career and discover my passion for the field of nursing. I am excited to start a job as a pediatric nurse at CHOA while continuing on with my MSN in pediatric primary care.

My favorite thing to do in Atlanta is...

Eat! I love to try new cuisines by going to places off of Buford highway and in Clarkston. I also love to go walking and skating on the different trails throughout the city. Westside park is one of my current favorites as I like to stop at Chattahoochee food works for a treat on my way home.

It has a great reputation for preparing students to become excellent nurses. I love the knowledge and experience the professors bring to class everyday and that the nursing community at the school is welcoming and supportive.

Finishing up my undergraduate career at SUNY Albany. I graduated with my bachelors degree just before starting at Emory. I have been a CPR/First Aid/Lifeguarding instructor since high school and I also shadowed in a few different practices and labs.
