Going to the Dekalb County Farmer's Market! They have amazing fresh food. I could spend my entire day there honestly.
I would say my main reason for choosing Emory was how welcome I felt at admitted students day. No other college or university had made me feel accepted and heard from the beginning. Emory has an amazing reputation and when I started classes I immediately realized why. The professors here are like none other. They genuinely care about their students and they are masters in their field. I am very grateful to be a student in this community.
Studying Biological Sciences and working as an Independent Living Assistant for those with intellectual disabilities at Clemson University in South Carolina. I really enjoyed my previous field of work and hope to carry those skills into nursing to help individuals with disabilities learn how to take charge of their health.
Clinical!!!! We started off late because of COVID-19, but when I finally got into the hospital I surprised myself with how much I had learned. It was an amazing feeling! As I have progressed through the program, clinical has only become more helpful and I feel like I have grown in my skills.
