I wanted to become a nurse, and eventually a nurse practitioner, who can help underserved communities. While searching for nursing schools, I discovered Emory’s “MN + MSN” program and was very impressed with what Emory’s School of Nursing had to offer. Emory was the only nursing school that I applied to because I was certain that Emory was where I belonged and the place from which I wanted to pursue my career. Emory’s nursing program is a great investment, in terms of my education and my future career.
One of the highlights of nursing school is making new friends who will go through the highs and lows with me, together as a team!
Find new places to visit and to eat delicious food. My new hobby is to find my own study places in Atlanta.
I earned my B.S. in Chemistry from the University of California, Riverside. Then I worked as an Emergency Medical Technician and as a mental health counselor for the City of Los Angeles. I moved to Georgia as soon as I got my acceptance to Emory University.
