My favorite thing to do in Atlanta is to go out with friends and try local restaurants and coffee shops. Atlanta has such a endless variety of restaurants that have lots of yummy food. My favorite local places have been: Hawkers Asian Street food, No Mas! Restaurant, The Bando and Cafe Momo.

When I was looking into schools I decided to choose Emory because of its reputation for having a curriculum that really encourages exploration and deeper learning. This curriculum that Emory offers really fosters curiosity and has broadened my understanding in Nursing!

I am currently completing the BSN program, so prior to nursing school I was in high school! I attended Paulding County High School in Dallas, Georgia (about an hour away from Atlanta) where I was apart of the Magnet S.T.E.M. program.

What has been the highlight of nursing school so far?

The highlight of nursing school has been the friends that I have been able to make along the way. Nursing school has been difficult and there is a lot of information and skills to learn, however, through these challenges I have been able to make some lifelong friends.
