Emory’s reputation and notability initially drew me in, but what solidified my choice was how well the school’s values resonated with mine. The welcoming community and the support I have received since starting have only strengthened my decision. The faculty bring such a vast range of nursing experience, and it is inspiring to be mentored by individuals who are truly invested in our success.

Prior to starting my master’s program, I was a pre-nursing major in undergrad, but life took me in a different direction. I earned my bachelor’s degree in Health Administration, but I always kept my focus on nursing. After working as a nursing assistant under the tutelage of a Nurse Practitioner, I applied to Emory when the opportunity arose. If you are looking for a sign to go, this is it! No matter what has held you back or if your plans have changed, you can make it happen! 😄
